Gladys Sanders Cook, age 89, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012.
Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 31, 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The graveside funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. Aug. 31, 4:00 p.m. in Knights of Pythias Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her, husband, Clarence B. Cook; parents, Arthur and Naomi Sanders.
She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include
children, Kenneth W. Cook (Peggy), of Huntsville,
Sandra Smith (Terry), of Florence, and Will E. Cook (Judy), of Gordo, Ala.;
sisters, Emogene Koon, of Gordo, and Linda Watson, of Fayette, Ala.;
seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
