Gladys Marie Wilson, 91, of Chattanooga, formerly of Athens, passed away Friday.
Mrs. Wilson was born Nov. 6, 1930 in Shreveport, LA to Charles Dewberry and Pauline Ross Dewberry. Her parents precede her in death, as well as her husband, Warren “Budgie” Wilson, one son Larry Wilson, two brothers, and one sister.
Mrs. Wilson was a long term resident of Athens, AL.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Brooks (David) of Ooltewah, TN; daughter in law Shirley Wilson; two half-brothers, Freddie Jones (Phyllis) of Atwood, TN; Pat Dewberry of TN; three grandchildren, Austin (Ashley) Brooks of Ooltewah, TN; Justin (Becky) Brooks of Ooltewah, TN; Shannon (Wade) Betts of Ooltewah, TN; two great-granddaughters, Sophie and Anna Brooks.
The family will have a private graveside service.
