Gladys Margariet Adcock, 89 of Ardmore, Tennessee died on Friday, June 28, 2013, at Genesis Health Care in Ardmore, Tennessee.
Born Saturday, June 7, 1924 in Hazel Green, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Hatcher Bailes and the late Hallie Blackwell Bailes. She was a member of Ardmore Church of Christ and enjoyed sewing. Her family was her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William Leo Adcock, and a daughter Deborah Hill.
Surviving are her grandson: Matthew D. and wife Amy Hill of Ardmore, TN and a sister, Lois Steele of Ardmore, TN.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 1, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro Douglas Eubanks officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
