Graveside services for Gladys Daniels McAlister of Russellville will be held at KP

Cemetery on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Clint Busler officiating.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Mrs.

McAlister died Sunday, Feb. 24, in Russellville.

Gladys Daniels was born to William M. Daniels and Lula Caperton Daniels in Wayne

County Tennessee, June 1, 1919. She married Leon McAlister, July 3, 1942, and for

67 years they made their home in Russellville. She was an active member of the

VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 5184 and faithful member of the First United Methodist

Church. Gladys loved finding, buying and selling antiques.

Mrs. McAlister is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and two brothers Grady and Earlon Daniels.

She is survived by a special niece, Libby Daniels Wiser; sister-in-law, Nell Daniels,

both of Hendersonville, Tennessee; sisters-in-law, Cathline McAlister Hill and

husband Henry of Brewton, Alabama and Mayme McAlister of Russellville; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to acknowledge the special care provided by Dean Craddock, Kim Boyles and Judy Matthews, as well as the Country Cottage and

Burns Nursing Home all of Russellville.

Pinkard Funeral Home Russellville will be directing.
