Gladys Annette Sisco  Gladys Annette Sisco, 80, of Meridianville, Alabama passed away Friday, December 23, 2022, in Athens, Alabama. Ms. Sisco was born Thursday, April 30, 1942, in Ardmore, Alabama to Odie Melvin Jones and Lillie Marie Tillery Jones.

Ms. Sisco spent a majority of her life in Rogersville where she was of the Baptist faith. An avid animal lover, Ms. Sisco loved spending time with all her pets. She loved her family deeply and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those who may need it. Her free time was spent fishing and spending time with her family and friends whom she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Douglas Leon Sisco, brother, James Jones, sisters; Martha Lovett, Robbie Jones, and Darrell Stamps, as well as one nephew, Kenny Jones.

She is survived by her sister, Sherry (Carl) Owens, a host of nieces and nephews as well as other extended family, special friends Al and Tina Corley, Mary Wallace, and Jo Perino. The family would like to give a special thanks to Ms. Sisco’s special caregiver, Nicholas Butler.

Visitation and Funeral Services for Ms. Sisco will be Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon followed by a Chapel Service beginning at 12:00 noon with Bro. Michael Sullivan officiating. The burial will be at Gatlin Cemetery located in Ardmore, Alabama.
