Gina Mardis, a dedicated Cashier at Save Mart, passed away on July 22, 4, in Myrtle, MS. She was born on August 19, 1976, in Memphis, TN.

Gina’s passion for life extended beyond her career as a cashier. She found joy in various hobbies and interests such as cooking drawing, coloring, camping, caring for her cats and other animals, and fishing. Her vibrant spirit and love for the simple in life were truly inspiring.

She will be dearly missed by her surviving family and friends including her husband Mark Mardis, son Corey Mardis, daughter Nicole Mardis, sister Rachel Thrailkill, and brother Bobby Adcox. Gina shared a special bond with each of them that will forever hold a cherished place in their hearts. Although they mourn her passing, they also celebrate the beautiful memories and moments shared with Gina during her lifetime.

Gina is preceded in death by her father Bob Adcox, grandfather Bryce Woods, grandmother Geneva Woods, Aunt Linda Adcox, father-in-law Charles Mardis, and brother-in-law Bubba Haynes.

The visitation to honor Gina’s life will be held on July 26, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Glenfield Funeral Home in New Albany. This will be followed by a Graveside Service at Glenfield Memorial Park from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on the same day.

In her unique way of touching lives with kindness and warmth, Gina has left an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace knowing that she was loved and will be remembered fondly by all whose lives she brightened.
