Gina Dion Sienknecht, 67, of Madison passed away on March 3. She was born in Massachusetts to Edgar and Gloria Dion on March 31, 1954. She moved to Alabama in 2003 when she married Bruce Sienknecht. Gina loved her fur babies, Sugar and Spice, who had already crossed over the rainbow bridge and were waiting for her. Gina was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and a dear sister, Charlene. Survivors include her husband, Bruce Sienknecht; daughters, Vickie Dion and Katie Dion; stepson, Randy (Melissa) Sienknecht; 3 grandchildren, Adelyn, Alaney, and Ashton; one brother; sister, Suzie Brock; and a fur baby, Russett Tater Tots. She loved antiquing, garage sales and flea markets. She loved gardening and working with the flowers in her yard. She loved going on adventures with her daughters Vickie, Katie and her sister Suzie. She was a good friend to those who knew her and loved to make people laugh. She adored her fur baby Russett Tater Tots, they were inseparable. She believed in God, and knew that when she left this world she would be with Him in Heaven. She looked forward to seeing her sister, Charlene, who passed in 1963, and her mother again. Per Gina’s request, no services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to A New Leash on Life.
