Funeral service for Gid Wendle Terry, age 72, of Moulton, will be Monday, January 26, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with friends and family officiating. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Jones Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Terry, who died Friday, January 23, 2015, was born December 4, 1942, in Lawrence County to Raymond and Euna Mae Terry. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewel Sue Terry; his parents; sisters, Ollie Vay Moats and Lola Dean Harville; and brother, Elijah Terry.
Survivors include a son, Larry W. Terry (Charlotte); and grandson, Cory W. Terry; daughter, Roxie Terry Breeding (Ronnie); and granddaughter, Courtney Breeding; daughter, Tabatha Terry Harville; and grandson, John Wayne Patterson; brother, Atwell Terry (Liz); sisters, Argean Terry (Carrel), and Julia Ray Hagood (Melvin).
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
