Eli needs a furever home. He isn’t at the shelter but we can arrange for you to meet him! Just call 256-760-6676 to schedule a time Here is what his wonderful foster has to say about Eli. This amazing, soft fur ball came to the shelter as a single kitten, but I have raised him with 6 other kittens who are about 2 weeks younger than him, 5 of my own cats, and 2 large dogs. He is my baby. He does not like to be out of my sight and he does not like to be confined in a crate or away from me in a bedroom. He is the first to greet me when I come home and goes with me from room to room. He is very social, cuddling and playing with the other animals. He would be very lonely being by himself, so I hope you would want to adopt one of these 6 “siblings” to go to your home with him. He sleeps on my bed at night without disturbing me. His playful antics are very amusing. When I sit on the sofa, he has to be in my lap or beside me. His name, Eli, fits him so well; he knows his name and comes when called. If you decide to adopt him, I’ll have much more information to give you about him to help him make the transfer to your home easier–but having one of his siblings with him would be most beneficial to him.

McDaniel is 10 months old Domestic Short Hair Cat that is currently in a Foster home but available for adoption. He is super sweet and does well with other cats, children and strangers. McDaniel is shy at first, but opens up quickly (especially if there’s a treat involved). He loves to play, is liter box trained and has never had any accidents. McDaniel is a model citizen in his foster home and would make a great addition to any size family. He is neutered, microchipped and current on his rabies vaccines.
