This is Lucky she was found floating on a mattress for sometime due to the storms. Corey saved her life after working for hours to get her safe. She is so incredibly sweet and loving. Lucky, we call her, has been through so much having to ride out the storms. She is incredibly Lucky to be alive! If you are able to foster this young pup she would love to be with you to enjoy time not being in the shelter. Thank you she can not wait to meet you!
We have her aged around 8-10 months. Very shy and loving. She will be around 40-ish pounds full grown. She is a pitbull mix. Come meet Lucky. Colbert County Animal Shelter
Oh sweet Charlie boy!! How are you still at the shelter?!?!
Charlie is a 1.5 year old lab mix! He is dog friendly at the shelter, SUPER kid friendly, doesn’t bother the shelter cat, clean in his kennel, leash trained and has been on several doggy day outs….. so why is this boy still with us?!
We can’t imagine that there’s no home looking for a boy as special as Charlie!
Charlie is already neutered, UTD on vaccines, NexGard and de wormer!
His adoption fee is only $50! Colbert County Animal Shelter
Where to begin with this girl?!?!
Granny Gray is an amazing girl for the right people! She needs someone who understands her breed and how vocal they are!
She comes off as aggressive but really just playful! You can see in the photos how athletic she is! No worries, she’s like a cat and always lands on her feet!
She isn’t a fan of other dogs and is very dominant! She is not good with cats!
She LOVES to “play” ball! Really she wants to bite, deflate and shake them to death
She will run and play for hours if you let her!
Granny Gray loves toys but if they are stuffed, they immediately go BOOM!
She knows “sit” and walks pretty well on a leash! The techs have been putting in lots of work with this girl!
Granny Gray will wait as long as she can to go out but she does occasionally have accidents in her kennel if we can’t get to her quick enough. We feel like this could be resolved in more of a home setting pretty quickly!
She is about 4-5 years old but has the pitty energy of a puppy!
This girl is up for adoption for $50! Colbert County Animal Shelter
Introducing Robbie!!!
Robbie is a 2 year old pitty mix!
He is a low rider! He is smaller but dense, so heavy weight!
This boy loves to play outside! He played with other dogs yesterday and did great!
He doesn’t seem to mind our shelter cat but hasn’t been strenuously cat tested!
Robbie loves the kids that visit the shelter but will jump!
He also gives love nibbles.. some have mistaken this for aggression and biting but it is his way of expressing his playfulness! The staff has been working with him on this!
Robbie has been waiting on a home for MONTHS!
This boy is already neutered and up to date on vaccines! He loves to play in the meet and greet area and loves getting pets!
This boy would be an amazing fit for pretty much anyone!
Robbie’s adoption fee is $50!
