Gertrude Mae Strange, age 82, of Tuscumbia, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014. Her family will receive friends Sunday 1-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Harold David Conley officiating. Burial will be in Community Cemetery.
Mrs. Strange was a native of Colbert County and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Curry and Jody Belle Archer.
She is survived by her sister-in-laws, Dorothy Archer Lois Hester, and Cara Hester; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
