Geraldine Ross Currin, 79, of Hazel Green, passed away on Monday.
She was a member of Kirkland Baptist Church and was a gifted cake decorator – making many cakes over the years – especially for weddings. She was a member of the first graduating class of Sparkman High School and had maintained a close relationship with her school friends throughout her life. She was crazy about her grandchildren and loved spoiling them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Currin, by her brother, Dickey Ross, and by her parents, Jackson and Lucy Ross.
Surviving family members include her daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Eric Hulsey; Her son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Christie Currin; Her grandsons: Benjamin Hulsey, Joshua Hulsey, Shamus Currin, and Ethan Currin; Her sister: Janice Perrigin; She is also survived by a niece, several nephews, and many friends.
Because of Covid-19, there will be a private service for the family. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.
