Geraldine Pressnell Cantrell, 78 of Athens, Alabama, passed away on Friday October 11th, 2024. She was born on July 23rd, 1946, to parents James Walton Pressnell and Mamie Aline Shannon.
Mrs. Cantrell is survived by her husband Henry Cantrell; daughter Donna Sherrill; son Danny Cantrell (Sharon); grandkids Brandon Sherrill, Cole Cantrell (Shelby); and great-grandkids River Cantrell and Raelynn Cantrell.
Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law Rodney Sherrill.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday October 15th, 2024, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home from 12pm to 1:45pm with services following in the chapel at 2:00pm with Ricky Cantrell officiating the service. The burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
Geraldine loved her life, family, gardening, being outside, yard work, and talking on the phone.
