Geraldine (Judy) Brown, age 72, of Waterloo, Alabama, died, Monday, October 5, 2015. The visitation will be Wednesday, October 7th from 6-9:00p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will be Thursday, Oct. 8th at 2:00p.m. at Lighthouse Apostolic Church. Pastor Paul Holloway and Bro. Lynn Holloway will be officiating. Interment will be at Central Heights Community Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her sister Phylis Ann Wood; mother, Beatrice Wood, father, Earl Wood; and great-grand-daughter Lakean Dale Wood.
Pallbearers will be Preston Morris, Derrick Morris, Blake Brown, Cory Covington, Jeremy Benson, and Shawn Overholser. Honorary pallbearers will be Travis Brown, Joey Wood, Johnathan Wood, Keith Wood, Greg Wood, and Tommy Wood.
Survivors include her sons, Travis Brown (Doris), Terry Brown; daughter, Teresa Morris (Randy); brothers, Wallace Wood and Thomas Wood; sister, Carolyn Allison; grandchildren, Preston Morris, Kristin Covington, Tiffany Morris, Derrick Morris, Blake Brown, and Chasity Brown; great-grandchildren, Nisha Morris, Chelsey Morris, Dane Morris, Addison Benson, Hadlee Covington, Hunter Morris, Brooklyn Morris, Lakean Benson, Landon Brown, and Charlee Covington.
Special thanks to Ferrin Bayles and Central Family Clinic and all the nurses from Gentiva and Hospice for taking such good care of our “momma.” Also, Louise Morris, Stephanie Britnell, and Annie Smith for sitting and watching over her. We are also thankful for all the calls, visits, food, and prayers for our mother.
