Geraldine (Gerry) Sisk Howard passed away peacefully on May 4th,2024 at Keestone at the Hewitt House in Pulaski.
Gerry was born in Giles County on July 16,1932 to W.J. (Willie) and Winnie Cardin Hardy. She was the youngest of five children, all of whom predeceased her. She was a longtime member of East Hill Church of Christ.
For more than a decade, she co-owned and operated the Village Hut restaurant, a popular hang-out for Pulaski teenagers and a favorite lunch or dinner spot for the older generations. In later years, she enjoyed her work as an associate at Walmart where she was able to reconnect often with former customers and friends as well as with the “Village Hut teenagers” who were now adults!
The visitation will be 11:00am to 1:00pm Monday, May 13th, 2024, at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Sain and Bro. Kase Britton officiating.
The burial will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, James Harold (Bubba) Sisk, her first husband and father of her children, Jimmie Sisk, and her second husband, Morris Howard.
Gerry is survived by her children: Bonnie Sisk Wilkinson and husband, Ty of Sewanee, Jack Sisk and wife, Elizabeth McAnally Sisk of Pulaski, and William Jeffrey Sisk also of Pulaski.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Matthew Wilkinson, Catherine (Caki)Sisk Wilkinson, Courtney Sisk Hueter, Christopher Sisk, Chad Sisk, Connor Sisk, Shelby Sisk, Mandy Goenner and Kelsey Mallard. Thirteen great-grandchildren also survive.
The family wishes to thank the special staff at Keestone at Hewitt House for their devoted attention these past two years and the Gentiva Hospice team for their care and support during her final days.
