Geraldine Bowling Stack, 82, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on December 26, 2024 following the return of brain cancer that she fought and beat for 25 years.
Geri was born March 9, 1942. She is a graduate of Huntsville High School, class of 1960. She attended Calhoun Community College where she received her associate’s degree in nursing. Geri worked as a LPN in the OR at Huntsville Hospital for over 50 years.
Geri is preceded in death by her mother and father James Lewie Bowling and Vera Bowling. She is survived by her loving honey of over 40 years, Eddie M. Paseur (Huntsville, AL); sister Wanda Nichols (Morgan City, AL); daughter Regina Gilmore (Ricky) (Huntsville, AL); son Shane Stack (Stacy)(Huntsville, Al ) daughter Brandi Scimeca (Roy) (Baton Rouge, LA) stepson Little Eddie Paseur (Melanie)( Huntsville, AlL stepdaughter Tracey Paseur (Matt) (Beechgrove, TN) granddaughters-Whittney Gilmore, Micah Rae Stack, and Kyleigh Paseur, grandsons- Tyler Gilmore, Cody and Dylan Paseur, great-grandchildren- Legend and Lennox Moon.
“Little Mother” as everyone called her has always been an avid gardener and loved more than anything tending to her plants and flowers with her loving yorkies and other animals by her side. Little mother will be greatly missed by all, including other family members and countless friends she made over the years.
Visitation will be at Berryhill Funeral Home on Sunday December 29th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm with a service immediately following at 4:00.
