Gerald Wayne Usery, age 79, of Elkmont, Alabama passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Gerald was born August 30, 1942 to Nellie VanManen and John P. Usery.
Gerald is survived by his daughters Tracy Hicks, Sonya Skinner (Dennis) and Kerry Atkinson (Chris); his brothers Harold Wade and Ronnie Usery; his sisters Angela Nash and Karen Daniels; his grandchildren Christopher Hicks, Amanda Hicks, Caitlin Sims, Tyler Skinner, Erika Hosmer, Colby Morris; his great grandchildren Lawton Hicks, Hezekiah Heard, Braxton Sims, Brodie Sims, Brett Sims, Persephone Hosmer, Maverick Morris, and Hudson Morris; his stepfather Paul VanManen.
Gerald was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Robinson Usery, and his parents.
A visitation for Gerald will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McConnell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM at McConnell Funeral Home with Bro. Brad Smith and Bro. Richard Garlen officiating.
Gerald will be laid to rest in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Prospect, Tennessee.
