Gerald Ray Sanders was born April 10, 1946 in McNairy County, TN, the son of the late Willie Roy and Nola Etta Roten Sanders.
He was united in marriage to Barbara Louise Wilkins on October 26, 1973. was a member of the First Baptist Church in Michie, Tennessee and a member of Woodman Lodge number 64 of Corinth. Thoughtout the years, Gerald worked for different companys such as Century Electric, Vendo, Wurlitzer and Spun Steel. He also worked in Masonry most of his life and in recent years worked for the Price’s and Barry Hickman of Corinth.
Mr. Sanders departed this life on June 24, 2015 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 69 Years, 2 Months, 14 Days.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Sanders of Michie, TN; a brother, Horace Sanders and wife Sue of Michie, TN; a special nephew, Randle Sanders of McNairy County; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Schlesser and Lavern Knight; two brothers, James and Avis Sanders.
