Mr. Tosh was born on November 1, 1936 in Jackson, TN, the son of the late William P. Tosh and Harriett Garrett Tosh. Randol worked at West Drug Store in Bemis for 37 years eventually becoming an owner/partner. His second career was with State of TN as a bridge inspector. He was a longtime member of Malesus United Methodist Church and served on numerous committees. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, water sports , and watching all sports including his favorite baseball team, St. Louis Cardinals and University of Tennessee Basketball. He was a respected fast pitch softball umpire for many years .
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Kay Moyer Tosh of Jackson; daughter, Nanette Newman (Mike); son, Robin Tosh; four grandchildren, Missy, Kristi, Tosh, and Laura; thirteen great grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Seavers; sister-in-law, Georgia Morehead; and many nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate the life of Randol Tosh will be held in the coming weeks at Malesus United Methodist Church. The service information will be updated by the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons once those arrangements are completed.
