Gerald Payne Elliott, age 75, of Tullahoma, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Winchester, Tennessee, on August 25, 1949, to the late Thomas and Evelyn (Syler) Elliott. Gerald was baptized as a youth at Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church in Winchester, Tennessee. Before his retirement, he worked in management in the automotive and food industries. Gerald had a wonderful and likeable personality. He enjoyed watching his grandson play for the 49’ers and loved to watch the Steelers play. He also enjoyed watching, Ozark, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and especially Seinfeld. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his beloved family. Gerald was a music fan, and especially loved listening to the 60’s and 70’s music. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Susie Elliott; siblings, Ann Sotherland, Thomas Elliott, Jr. “Sonny”, Casandra Elliott “Sandy”; and step grandchild, Isaiah Petty. He is survived by his children, Angela Holman Winton (James) and Cedric Elliott; stepchildren, Kris White (Holly), Ryan White (Jan), and Joey Petty; brother-in-law, Robert Sotherland; sister-in-law, Luba Elliott; grandchildren, Tony Holman (Shayla), Elizabeth Holman, Hyacinth Bean (Devonne), Asia Elliott, Jauan Jennings, Kaden White, Dawson White, Matthew White, Caleb White, Isabell Petty “Bella”, and Isaac Petty; 11 great grandchildren; nieces, Dana, Tonya, Davina, and Tanassa; nephews, Vincent (Daphane), Thomas (Maya), Christopher, and Nicholas; 7 great nieces; 6 great nephews; special friends, Robert Sotherland and George Prince; and Carlos Taylor who was like a son to him; many other friends and extended family.
