Funeral service for Gerald (Jerry) Owen, 79, will be Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 5:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ray Remke and Sister Teresa officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be following the service until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Owen died on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at his residence. He was born April 29, 1936, in Memphis, TN to James Edward Owen and Hazel Mae Murrow. Mr. Owen was an Electronic Engineer for Prestolite Corporation and for Chrysler prior to his retirement. He enjoyed tilling and preparing gardens for his neighbors and friends. He was a great neighbor, a loving husband and wonderful father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers, family requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Valley.
