Gerald Glen Tucker, 68, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at his home after a short illness. He was born October 31, 1955, in Fulton, to Elvie and Ruby Jones Tucker. He was retired from Atlas Manufacturing Company in Tremont after 31 years of service. He was an avid deer hunter. He enjoyed being outdoors, walking, and especially enjoyed being around his family.
Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 29, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. David Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Jean Sartin Tucker; two daughters, Veronica Carroll (Davey) of Pontotoc and Vanessa Sheffield (Alan) of Fulton; one brother, Bruce Tucker of New Albany; one sister, Barbara Tucker of Fulton; five grandchildren, Dakota Sheffield, Ziva Sheffield, Elly Carroll, Olivia Carroll, and Katie Carroll.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Tucker; and his parents.
Pallbearers will be Dakota Sheffield, Eddie Underwood, Ricky Thomas, Greg Moore, Jerry Biggerstaff, and Harold Wilson.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
