Gerald F. Allen, 72, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo . He was born September 1, 1943 to the late Cornelius Allen and the late Ruby M. Ashby Heckert in California. He was retired from the Navy and a Vietnam Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, flying, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandson Jordan.
The family will hold a celebration of Life service on Sunday May 29, 2016 at his home.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Carolyn Allen of Fulton, Son, Joel (Sheila) Bezotte of Tremont, Daughter, Robin Steransky of Jacksonville, FL, Grandchildren, Gerald Allen Bezotte, Jacob Bezotte, Seth Bezotte, Jordan Crowder, Danica Williams, Jessica Jenkins, Andrea Crenshaw, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 Aunt, Loudena Trout.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 Brother.
