Gerald Eurell Parrish, age 88 of Horton passed away Monday, November 18, 2024 at his home.
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery in Horton. Bro. Larry Gunter will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Doug Parrish, Jerry Parrish, John Ponder, Blake Paradise, Neil Granberry and Mike Parrish. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 before the service.
He is survived by his children; Doug Parrish (Stephanie), Jerry Parrish (Erin) and Lori Parrish Granberry ( Glen), grandchildren; Neil Granberry (Allyn), Andolyn Parrish Paradise (Blake), Amelia Parrish, Emma Granberry and Annabelle Parrish, step-children; Mark Ponder and John Ponder (Robin), step-grandchildren; Colby Ponder Singleton (Gary), Macy Ponder Welch (Kyle), TJ Bigham (Paige) and Chris Ponder (Jessica), step great-grandchildren; Avery, Garrison, Bradley and Jep Singleton, Rhett and Sawyer Legett and Maybree and Ridge Bigham and his brother; Mike Parrish (Melody).
He is preceded in death by his wife; Judith Ponder Parrish, parents; L. D. “Mutt” and Bessie Hayes Parrish and his sister; Carolyn Ogden.
