Georgia Man Dies In Two-Vehicle Accident Near Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident near Huntsville that has taken the life of one person:

“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:50 p.m. Friday, December 16, has claimed the life of a Dalton, Ga. man.

Kenwin C. Printup, 50, was fatally injured when the 2021 Peterbilt tractor-trailer he was driving struck logs that were being carried by the 2000 Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by Christopher A. Kidd, 50, of Memphis, Tenn.

Printup was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on U.S. 72 near the 105 mile marker, approximately four miles east of Huntsville, in Madison County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
