ATTALLA-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident that has taken the life of a Georgia Man:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, has claimed the life of a Pooler, Ga. man.
Kester Bruton, 70, was fatally injured when the 2007 Volvo tractor trailer that he was driving left the roadway, struck a tree and caught fire. Bruton was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Interstate 59 near the 188 mile marker, approximately five miles north of Attalla, in Etowah County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
