Mrs. Georgia Lee Turosky, age 89, of McMinnville, TN, (Newtown Community) died Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Webb House in McMinnville, TN. She was born August 03, 1933, in Warren County, TN, was a homemaker and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Mrs. Turosky was preceded in death by parents Dean and Clara Muncey Whitman, husbands Ben Beverlon and Jack Turosky, son Kenneth Turosky, sisters Gertrude Neal, Mary Ellen Smith, and Sue Manis, and brothers Carl Whitman, Howard Whitman, Jay Whitman, and Dean Whitman, Jr.
Georgia is survived by her sisters Christine Turner, and Linda Joyce (Jimmy) Gooch, grandsons Mike Beverlen and Stanley Beverlen, great-grandchildren Damen and Gabriel Beverlen, and close family friends Jim and Mary Tollison.
Funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 12, 2022, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Jim Tollison will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Sunday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again Monday from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at McMinnville Funeral Home.
