Georgia Isabel Barker, known to many as “Ebbie”, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024 at the age of 96. She was a member at Blackwater Macedonia Church of Christ. She worked at Burton Manufacturing for many years. She loved her family dearly and would have dinners every Sunday for everyone. She also had a love for nature, sunrises and sunsets, singing and music. She was always up for an adventure.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Liberty Grove Cemetery. Roy Williams will officiate.
Mrs. Barker was preceded in death by her Parents-Floyd and Etta Odom; Brothers-Earnest Odom, Aubrey Odom and Carl Odom; Sisters-Evelyn Kilgore, Jeanette McGill and Naufleete Drummond; Son-Danny Barker; Grandchild-Danny Barker, Jr.
She is survived by her Children-Gloria Banks and Phillip Barker; Daughter-in-law-Charlotte Barker; Grandchildren-Janet McGough (Kenny), Vicky Estes (Robert), Todd Banks (Barbara), Mandy Williams and Blakeney Moore (John); Great Grandchildren-Braxton McGough (Katie), Weston McGough (Haley), Noah Hudson, Hali Black (Chase), Nathan Banks (Ashley), Kage Williams, Canon Williams, Madison Moore and Barrett Moore; 6 Great-Great Grandchildren; Host of Nieces, Nephews and Dear friends; her family at Ridgeview Healthcare.
