Georgia Faye Burleson Galbreath, age 85, of Hamilton, AL, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at her son’s residence. She was born in Marion County, Alabama on Sunday, February 26,1939 to Hudson Burleson and Vella Wiginton Burleson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will be Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 5 pm at Marion County Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Gene Gattis and Bro. Daniel Gattis officiating. The burial will be at Galbreath Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Galbreath, parents, Hudson and Vella Burleson; cousin and best friend, Adgil Lovett.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Stephen Galbreath; brother, Robert (Sandra) Burleson; nieces, Elizabeth (Fred) Cox, Deanna (David) Hollinger; cousins, Tammy (Thomas) Roden, Jeff (Lenae) Wiginton; special cousin, Marie Holmes; grandchildren, Taylor (Annabelle) Galbreath, Abby (Zack) Slatton; great-granddaughters, Savannah Galbreath, coming in September, Ivy Slatton; special grandchildren, Andrea Roden Williford, Andrew Roden; a host of other relatives and friends.
