Known affectionately as Nana, Georgette’s love for life was contagious. Her hobbies included coloring, solving puzzles, watching soap operas, and playing with her sweet grandsons. A fan of “Downton Abbey,” she found relaxation and delight in the dramatic twists of the show, as well as trying to determine what was cake on the hilarious show “Is It Cake?” Georgette’s happiest moments were spent at the beach, enjoying sweets, and dining out, which were only surpassed by the time she spent with her family.
Georgette was deeply religious and her faith played a significant role in her life. Her belief in God was profound and guided her through her journey.
She leaves behind a loving family: her daughter, Brandi Harris and husband Jonathan; grandsons Anderson, Acker, Ames, and the soon-to-be-born Ace; her son, Brandon Little; and her brother, Roger Sargent along with his wife Carolyn. Georgette’s nieces and nephews also hold dear memories of their aunt who will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adell M. Ingram and Luther Sargent, and her siblings, Joe, Junior, Gene Sargent, and Maureen Sargent Buckner.
A service to celebrate Georgette’s life will be held at Lincoln Methodist Church in Lincoln, Alabama, on August 31, 2024, at 2:00 pm. The family will accept flowers.
