George William “G.W.” Ball, 76, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at his residence. He was a veteran of the United States Army and worked at Reynolds for 34 years. He was a loving husband and father.
Visitation will be today from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. at Civitan Cemetery with military honors and Gary Halcomb officiating. Pallbearers will be Lonnie Butler, Tim Clark, Michael Sides, Jimmy Romine, Landis Wright, and Gary Halcomb.
G.W. was preceded in death by his parents, Ernie and Edna Ball; wife, Anna Ball; son, Zachary Ball; brothers, Jimmy and Billy Joe Ball; sister, Martha Ann (Harold) Cates; and an infant brother. He is survived by his daughter, Elesha Beth Ball; brothers, Butch (Patricia) Ball and Ernie Franklin Ball; sister, Mary Elizabeth (Roger) Nichols; and numerous nieces and nephews.
