A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Concord Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Horton, AL. Mike Knott will officiate. Pallbearers will be family and friends Preceded in death by his mother, Candis Roxie Landers Childers, father, James Aldon Childers, son, George Walter Childers, brother, William Samuel Childers. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Thelma Williamson Childers of Horton, AL, daughter, Robin Williams (Bradley) of Douglas, AL, sister, Shirley Nixon (William) of Orlando, FL, grandchildren, Nathan Harris, Makayla Harris, Bonnie LaTorre, Katie Garner, great-grandchild, Kelly LaTorre.
