George W. Hunter of Selmer, TN was born June 15, 1942 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Marshall and Imogene King Hunter.
Mr. Hunter was a 1960 graduate of Selmer High School. He owned and operated a cabinet shop for many years. He was a member of Selmer Sanctified Church. He enjoyed being with his family, working in his shop, and was content in the simple things of life like talking and having fellowship with his friends and acquaintances.
Mr. Hunter departed this life on December 7, 2015 in Selmer at the age of 73 Years, 5 Months, 22 Days.
He is survived by a daughter, Vickie Hunter of Selmer, TN; a son, Ricky Hunter of Selmer; a grandchild, Jeremy Hunter of Adamsville, TN; a brother, Billy Wayne Hunter and wife Brenda of Ramer, TN and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hunter was preceded in death by a sister, Paulette Hunter West, and his ex-wife, Marie McIntyre.
