George Travis Mask – Obituary

George Travis Mask, 71, died Saturday, January 13, 2018, at the North MS Medical Center. He was born September 9, 1946 in Shannon to Roy and Romie Bobo Mask. He attended school in Shannon and worked for Delta International for 30 years until he retired. He enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing and was a member of the Shiloh Hunting Club. He was a longtime member of Cedar Grove Pentecostal Church. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
Services will be 2 PM Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Cedar Grove Pentecostal Church with Rev. Danny Robbins, Rev. Nicholas Robbins, Rev. Billy Foster and Rev. Terry Lee officiating. Private burial will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
He is survived by his two sons, Joey Mask (Tessie) and Jonathan Mask (Tasha) all of Richmond; one brother, DD Mask (Joan) of Pontotoc; two grandchildren, Lori Duckworth (Jarrod) and Brianna Mask all of Richmond. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Gay Nell Mask; his daughter-in-law, Donna Mask; three sisters and four brothers.
Pallbearers will be Dickie Gray, Larry Pettigo, Kenneth Keith, Jason Taylor, Brian Hill, Jarrod Duckworth, Scott Little and Larry Shumpert. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Men of Cedar Grove.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cedar Grove Pentecostal Church Life Center.
Visitation will be 5 – 8 Tuesday and 1 – 2 Wednesday at the church.
