Funeral services for Mr. George Richard Morin, Sr., age 61, will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, November 30, 2024 in the Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home Chapel in Humboldt with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, November 29, 2024 from 4 PM until 8 PM and Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 10 AM until 1 PM at Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home.
Mr. George Richard Morin, Sr., loving brother, father, and grandfather, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 in the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was affectionately called “Chickenhawk” by his coworkers, friends, and family. He was a professional driver and dedicated employee for the Dement Family and their businesses.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eustorjio and Ninfa Morin; and two brothers, Robert Morin and Gary Morin.
Mr. George Richard Morin, Sr. is survived by two daughters, Jennifer K. Hernandez of Houston and Mikayla R. Dudley (Xavian) of Humboldt; a son, George Morin, Jr. (Shannon E.) of Bolivar; two sisters, Velma Ann Morin of Medina and Ida Morin of Jackson; a brother, Eustorjio Morin, Jr. of Kenton; and three grandchildren, Lily Grace Morin, Omar Gabriel Hernandez and George Wyatt Morin.
