George Linzie Vaughn, age 86, of Florence, Ala., passed away July 24, 2015. Visitation will be Monday, July 27, 2015 from noon to 1 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel, with service at 1 p.m., in the chapel. Officiating service will be Pastor Chris Barnett and Lynn Williams.
Preceded in death by wife, Margaret Vaughn; parents, Clarence and Mary Vaughn.
Survivors are daughters, Lee Williams (Lynn), Valerie Chowning (Larry) and Vickie Vaughn; grandchildren, Jennifer Taylor (Andrew), Candace Sanders (Josh), Brianna Williams, Bradley Chowning, Lindsey Robinson (Nick), Ashley Heimberg, Alana Cheek and Lucy Chenault.; and six great-grandchildren.
