Funeral for George LeRoy Willis, 90, of Hillsboro will be Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Rev. Oscar Ray Gray officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Willis, who died Monday, Aug. 15, 2016, at his residence, was born June 26, 1926, to Coral Otis Willis and Pearl Margaret Curtis Willis. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Willis; and his parents.
Survivors include his son, Alan Willis; daughter, Alyce Davenport; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
