Mr. George Harlon Dodson, age 90, of Scottsboro, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024. He was a member of Goosepond Church of God.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 12 noon at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Cornelison officiating. Burial will follow at Sanders Family Cemetery in Skyline, Alabama. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
George is survived by his sons, Calvin (Vanessa) Dodson, Phillip Dodson, and Randy (Betty) Dodson; daughter, Glinda Sue (Terry) Fisher; grandchildren, Kevin, Kenneth, Tracy, Keith, Timothy, Samantha, George, Jr., Kaitlyn, and Dennis; sister, Edith Dong; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Dodson and parents, Charley and Ruby Dodson.
