George Everett Galloway

Age 64, of Cross Plains, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 at his home. He was born September 1, 1957 in Takoma City, Maryland to William & Peggy Triplett Galloway. He worked in maintenance management for The Waters of Springfield. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. as an Airborne Army Ranger in Vietnam and in Panama. He was of the Nazarene faith. He is preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his wife of almost 41 years, Debora Galloway, Cross Plains, TN; sons, Mark (Julie) Galloway, Peoria, IL and Jeff (Sarah) Galloway, Pasco, WA; daughters, Cheri (Tony) Frank, Citrus Heights, CA, Candace (Jesse) Bailey, Steilacoom, WA and Skylar Galloway, Cross Plains, TN; father, William Galloway, Centerville, TN; brothers, William (Sherill) Galloway, Cumberland Furnace, TN, Mark (Cindy) Galloway and Scott Galloway, both of Cross Plains, TN, Ron (Diane) Galloway, Centerville, TN and Daniel (Janice) Galloway, TN; sisters, Kelley McInelly, WY and Mary Galloway, NC; 13 grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, September 2, 2022 @ 6pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell in White House, with Rev. Bob Snodgrass officiating.
