Mr. George D. Long, 76, of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on Friday September 20, 2024 in Rogers, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Williams; parents, George and Margaret Long; sisters, Peggy Erby, Mary Lee Erby, Judy Erby, Wanda Long and Brenda Blevins; brother, Randy Long.
Mr. Long was survived by his three sons, Carthel Grayson, Dennis Earl Long (Jenny), and Paul Long (Kayla); daughter, Penny Johnson; four brothers, James Long, William “Bill” Long, Andy Ray Long and Teddy Long; 4 grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with David Long officiating. The visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. The interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
