George C. Wilcox, 84, of Owens Crossroads, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Wilcox was retired from Hughes Aircraft and he was a member of the New Hope Church of God. Mr. Wilcox served on the Owens Crossroads planning committee. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles area 3263 of Huntsville for 22 years.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years Terra Wilcox, stepson Jonah Olivo, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, January 6, 2014 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral will follow at 2:00pm at Berryhill Funeral Home. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery. Donations may be made to Amedisys Hospice Care.
