George C. Fikes, Jr. “G.C.”, 100 of Corner, passed away Sunday June 16, 24 at his residence.
Mr. Fikes was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of Christ in Warrior. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in the 32nd Communication Division. He was retired from the Jefferson County Highway Department.
Graveside service and interment is Tuesday June 18, 24 at 10:00 am at Pleasant Hill Church of Christ cemetery in Corner. Bro. Jerrel Fikes will officiate. Everyone is invited to meet at the gravesite.
He was preceded in death by his wife Doris Fikes.
Survivors include his son, Jerrel Fikes and wife Sarah, his daughter, Sheila Blackmon and several grandchildren.
