George A. Hall, 65 of Huntsvile passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2017. A lifelong Huntsvillian, he was the youngest child of Homer and Helen (Milam) Hall. He was a graduate of Lee High School and UAH. During college, he worked as a staff photographer for the Huntsville News. Later, he worked for the Alabama Department of Transportation, where he retired in 2011 after 36 years. He leaves his wife of nearly 38 years, Barbara; son, William Hall; daughter, Laura Brown (Jesse); granddaughter, Samantha Brown; and sisters Emily Vandiver and Lynda Romero (Ralph). The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 6 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 7 at Maple Hill Cemetery.
