Georgann McGill Georgann Gandee McGill, age 58, of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center. Born on November 22, 1965, in Maury County, she was the beloved daughter of the late George Henry Gandee and Catherine Wells Gandee.

 

A Celebration of Life in honor of Georgann will be held on March 10th, 2024, at 12:00 pm at Genesis Baptist Church, 6517 Minor Hill Hwy in Goodsprings, Tennessee. Heritage Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with local arrangements.

 

Georgann was a devoted member of Genesis Baptist Church in Goodsprings, where her faith was a guiding light in her life. She had a passion for various creative pursuits, including writing, music, photography, and painting. Georgann found joy in home interior updating and cherished the beauty of the outdoors, particularly through her love for gardening and watching hummingbirds. Her affinity for animals, especially owls, reflected her compassionate nature.

 

Georgann is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Terry Wayne McGill, and leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Gelinda (Richard) Young, Stacy (Helga) McGill, Tracy McGill, Belinda McGill, Brandon (Tess) McGill, and Laura Jarrett. Her memory is further carried on by her cherished grandchildren, Josh (Caitlin) Young of Pulaski, Heather Young of Pulaski, Lee (Jesse) McGill of North Carolina, Crystal (Trevor) Sester of Leoma, Katherine (Kobe) Barnette of Pulaski, Becca (Samantha) Young of Pulaski, Tyler McGill of AL, Alex Gleyze of Culleoka, Logan Gleyze of Lawrenceburg, Trevor Gleyze of Culleoka, Kenzie Jarrett of Columbia, Logan Jarrett of Columbia, Tyler Schooley of Columbia, and Jayla McGill of Columbia; 6 great-grandchildren;  and siblings: Mark (Kim Brown) Gandee, Donnie (Sandra) Gandee, Gary (Patty) Gandee, Clyde Quirk, and sister-in-law Betty Gandee.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Henry Gandee and Catherine Wells Gandee, and her brother, Steve Gandee.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Georgann’s memory be made to Genesis Baptist Church, 6517 Minor Hill Hwy, Goodsprings, TN.
