Geneva was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Hardly a day went by that she wasn’t calling to check on her kids and grandkids just to see how their day went and to check that they were okay. She stood by her family and had their backs no matter what. She was the most loyal person. She got up at 3:30 every morning and drove an hour to her job at SCI as an assembly line worker for 35 years. She loved bird watching, food from the Publix deli, and Judge Judy was her favorite show, she never missed it! Everyone who had the privilege of getting to know her loved her. From her family, friends, coworkers and nurses they all recognized the goodness in her.
She found her joy in a simple little life sitting in her little house that her husband built her 65 years ago and watching her children and grandchildren grow. She will always be remembered for her generous spirt and her unwavering love for her family. Her memory will be cherished forever, and she will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from Noon until the time of the service at 2pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Brother Hank Crim will officiate. After the service, burial will be in Concord Cemetery in New Market.
Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
