Geneva Mae Hedgecoth

Geneva Mae Hedgecoth, age 82, passed away Monday June 8, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family from an extended illness.  Geneva was born in Pikeville on April 6, 1939, to the late Casto Noah and Lora Hale. She was a member of Clarks Chapel Church of God, well known for her sewing skills, her candy, and fried pies.

In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her husband; Billy Wayne Hedgecoth, brother; Hershal Hale, sisters; Wanda Wallace, Velma Moses, and Edna Dillard.

Geneva is survived by son; Terry Rex Narramore of Sparta, brother; Robert Wade Hale of Pikeville, sister; Elsie Hedgecoth of Pikeville, grandchildren; Tina Simmons, Amanda Narramore, Stephen (Aleysha) Hill, Rodney Hill III, great-grandchildren; April, Corey, Alyssa, Brayden, Remington, Braxton, and Paisley Simmons, Keyara Hill, Leah and Lacy Russell and Michael Hendrien.

Funeral services will be held Friday June 11, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Layne Chapel with Bro. Jason Stevens and Bro. Wayne Sullivan officiating.  Burial will follow in the Spencer Town Cemetery.  Visitation hours are Thursday June 10th 5:00pm to 9:00pm and Friday June 11th 9:00am till time of service at 2:00pm
