Geneva Heard, 76, of Harvest, Alabama passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Huntsville Hospice Family Care in Huntsville, Alabama.
Mrs. Heard has lived in the Harvest area for the majority of her life. She spent her free time enjoying gardening as well as spending time with her great grandson.
Mrs. Heard is preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley Patterson and Louise Patterson Stewart, her husband, James Heard, one sister, Velvie Pack, and one brother, JW Patterson.
She is survived by her only son, James (Christy) Heard, five brothers: Dale (Donna) Patterson, Diemer (Robbie) Patterson, Oliver (Barbara) Patterson, Lester (Sandra) Patterson, and Donnie (Debbie) Patterson, one sister, Linda (Johnny) Furline, two grandchildren, Britney Gay and Chelsey (Jeremy) Watson, one great grandchild, Jayden Gay, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation held for Mrs. Heard at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Chapel Service will be held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home the following day, Sunday, April 28, 2024, beginning at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
