Geneva Elnora Smith Putman, age 94, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg. Geneva was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who has left a rich legacy of Godly service and influence on all who knew her. After raising her family, she cooked for many years at Lawrence County High School. Geneva was a member of Park Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Miles Lincoln Putman; her parents, Will and Dora Keeton Smith; a grandson, Connor Lee Mitchell; a sister, Kathryn Perry; and three brothers, Edward Smith, Clifford Smith, and Alfred Smith.
She is survived by

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, August 17, 2015 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Tuesday, August 18, 2015, with Ricky Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Family suggests memorials be made to Park Grove Baptist Church, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, or Gideons International.
