Private graveside service for Gene Wilson Lamar, 82, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Cullman Memory Gardens, Dr. Mickey Jett officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Lamar passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020 at his residence. He was born July 15, 1937 to Frank & Rosa Mae Elkins Lamar. He was a member of Living Faith Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jerry, Jackie, Paul and a sister, Tava Baird.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Shirley Lamar; sons, Rick (Renee) Lamar, Randy (Valerie) Lamar; daughter, Nanette Lamar (Mickey) Jett; brothers, Dale Lamar, Phillip Lamar, Richard Lamar, David Lamar; sisters, Mary Jo Whaley, Paula Mitchell, Sarah Hudson; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; family and friends.
