Gene Edward Brown, age 76, of Guntersville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024. He was born on March 2, 1948, in Guntersville, Alabama, to the late Luther and Goldie Brown
Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Goldie Brown; his brother, Bobby Brown; his sister, Patricia Lawson; and his brother, Walter Brown.
He is survived by his sisters, Joan Jones and Kathy Lambert; his brother, David Brown; and a host of nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
Gene was a passionate Auburn Football fan, always watching and cheering on his team with enthusiasm. His love for his family, his infectious spirit, and his loyalty to his favorite team will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A graveside service will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, where friends and family will gather to celebrate his life.
